![]() ![]() I think there are design errors with HP to produce it with so narrow grids and corners so you can not look at detecting and removing dust without breaking your laptop. Having done some Google searches I found information that said that on some laptops this is a piece on a daughter board but after removing it I can not find any clues about one. Lift the processor from the machine and replace it with new ones. Loosen the CPU connector by turning the screw in Open position. ![]() Remove the cooler tray shown in the last image. So I waited until the heart of the computer not only dust at the top of the fan but also to the thermal The paste on the processor was almost completely gone and burned in dust. When you try to start up the screen is blank hard disk light oragne and light front lock flash 5 times which according to HP means general system board error. I bought one from eBay in the UK by searching 6735 and when it came it looked like the right thing so I went ahead and ran in without any problems.
